Mokoroa taniwha arrives!

Our Mokoroa Taniwha has arrived!
The wonderful Ms Daly has done an awesome job designing it for us.  The Mokoroa Taniwha lived deep in the Waitakere creeks. He was known for having a fierce jaw, a powerful tail and a massive appetite!
Kaiwhare's taniwha will be hung up soon too - so watch this space!

  1. Hi there, my name is Nikhil and I am a student in room waitemata at waikowhai primary school School. I really like how you made the taniwha in lots of different colors instead of one color . It made me think of a huge colorful taniwha rising out of the water. Have you thought about explaining why the taniwha is there. If you would like to see my learning, my blog is http://wpsnikhilg.blogspot.co.nz.
