Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa - Samoan Language Week

Room 6 celebrated Samoan Language Week by learning a little Samoan song. We also learnt the names of different parts of the body. Ayva taught us these, as well as some other words she learnt from home. You were a great teacher Ayva!

Our Mokoroa Taniwha has arrived!  The wonderful Ms Daly has done an awesome job designing it for us.  The Mokoroa Taniwha lived deep in the Waitakere creeks. He was known for having a fierce jaw, a powerful tail and a massive appetite!  Kaiwhare's taniwha will be hung up soon too - so watch this space!
