Manukau @ Waikowhai Primary School

Room 6 were awesome at the pool today!!!! Some students were tested on their swimming skills and to see how many lengths of the pool they could swim, on their front and back, without touching the floor!! Mrs Simpson was one impressed teacher!!!!!              

Room 6 have been fabulous role models today for Room 5. We helped Room 5 put together books,in 'Book Creator', on the iPads explaining the steps needed to make a banana and kiwi fruit smoothie. Have a look at us in action!                

As part of the KOS (Keeping ourself safe) program the middle school have decided to become  'egg-cellent' parents and each individual has been given the opportunity to care for an egg for as long as possible. We have talked about the importance of looking after the eggs, being gentle with them, making sure they are being egg-sitted at all times and not allowing them to be in the position of being 'broken'. Lets see how many eggs return to school tomorrow!! Good luck Room 6!
